Rently announced new innovations within its Resident Lifecycle Management Platform, which unifies the company’s full suite of technologies. These advancements span artificial intelligence, touring automation, smart access, and system integrations, aiming to simplify operations for property managers and enhance the resident experience from listing to living.

The Resident Lifecycle Management Platform, introduced at Rently Summit 2025, represents Rently’s evolution from a self-guided touring provider to an end-to-end solution for the entire resident experience.“Rently’s Resident Lifecycle Management Platform represents our vision for a fully connected rental ecosystem,” said Merrick Lackner, CEO of Rently. “From first inquiry to final lease, we’re creating technologies that help operators automate their workflows and provide residents with a seamless, secure and intelligent living experience.”Rently introduced solutions designed to make property discovery faster for prospective renters, noting that 89% use Internet Listing Services (ILS) to find and schedule property tours. Rently Intelligence, an AI-powered leasing assistant, allows prospective renters to search listings and schedule tours using natural language through chat, voice, or text. A Zillow Tour Scheduling Integration enables direct booking of self-guided tours from listing sites, aiming to reduce friction and improve conversion rates.

Updates in leasing focus on streamlining self-guided tours and automating property management workflows. Rently Tour Pass, a proximity-based feature, enables automatic unlocking of supported smart locks during self-guided tours, aiming to eliminate manual steps.

Expanded partner integrations include deeper partnerships with property management and operations platforms. Integrations with Buildium and AppFolio automatically sync property listings, marketing data, and unit details into Rently, and guest card data back to the Property Management System (PMS). This seeks to remove duplicate data entry and accelerate lead-to-lease conversion. The Entrata integration connects Rently’s smart home platform with Entrata’s PMS, automatically creating maintenance work orders for issues like low smart lock battery. An integration with HappyCo links Rently access control with HappyCo’s maintenance platform, automatically generating secure, temporary access codes for technicians assigned to specific work orders.

Rently launched three new smart home and access control devices for enhanced security and simplified management. The Rently Smart Bolt Elite is a dual-connectivity smart lock, combining Bluetooth and Z-Wave Long Range with Kwikset® SmartKey Security®. The Rently Access Panel Pro is a compact access control panel for shared community areas and amenities, featuring built-in connectivity and unified management via Rently’s platform. The Rently Smart Hub Pro integrates a smart thermostat and smart hub, providing reliable automation and in-unit smart home control for residents and operators.“Every advancement we’ve introduced this year builds on our mission to connect the entire resident lifecycle,” added Lackner. “By linking AI, hardware and platform integrations, we’re making it easier for property managers to operate efficiently and for residents to feel at home the moment they arrive.”The Resident Lifecycle Management Platform and its new innovations represent Rently’s ongoing investment in connected rental technology, aiming to unify operations, access, and living experiences. Rently’s platform is designed for single-family and multifamily operators to optimize the rental journey, including listing properties, streamlining leasing with self-guided tours and smart access, and improving resident living experiences through smart home technology.
