ReliaQuest Unveils GreyMatter Workflows for Enhanced AI-Powered Security Automation

Share It:

ReliaQuest, a leader in AI-powered security operations, has introduced GreyMatter Workflows, a new capability designed to enhance security response times and reduce manual effort for enterprises. Integrated directly into ReliaQuest’s GreyMatter platform, the new feature allows customers to develop business-specific workflows using a no-code, drag-and-drop interface.

GreyMatter Workflows extends the platform’s existing automation capabilities, which include critical aspects of detection, containment, investigation, and response across security teams’ technology stacks. This new functionality enables GreyMatter to interact with various business units and end-users, facilitating threat verification through deeper integrations with communication tools such as Microsoft Teams and Slack.

The feature includes out-of-the-box templates based on common use cases observed among ReliaQuest’s enterprise customers. Customization options are available to address unique business requirements. The drag-and-drop interface allows security teams to build, modify, and deploy automations immediately, with AI Agents enabling further customization of the investigation process.

This approach aims to reduce operational complexity, decrease human intervention, and accelerate response times. On average, customers utilizing GreyMatter Workflows have reportedly achieved a 64% decrease in their Mean Time to Respond and eliminated over 50% of manual response activities.

Brian Foster, President of Product and Technical Operations at ReliaQuest, stated, “The threat landscape is accelerating, but the operational workflows used to detect and contain those threats haven’t kept up. Security teams need the ability to automate complex workflows quickly, so they can focus more on managing threats and less on managing tools. GreyMatter Workflows gives our customers the ability to build powerful end-to-end automations to unify all phases of security operations, without leaving the platform.”

Pat O’Keefe, Head of Global Security Operations and Risk Management at Circle K, commented on the new capability, saying, “Detecting and containing threats quickly has never been more important in cybersecurity, especially for a business like ours that is distributed across hundreds of locations around the world. Being able to extend our automation capabilities further into our business will help us stay proactive in protecting our brand.”

Bo Olsen, Security Engineering Manager at Eastern Bank, added, “As we look to what’s next in cybersecurity, we plan to automate as much as possible of the day-to-day security operations processes so we can spend more time on what matters most to our business. We can’t achieve that level of efficiency with traditional SOAR – an expensive add-on that doesn’t deliver the outcomes we really need.”

ReliaQuest’s GreyMatter platform is designed to allow security teams to detect, contain, investigate, and respond to threats in under five minutes, aiming to eliminate Tier 1 and Tier 2 security operations work. The platform utilizes a Universal Translator, detection-at-source capabilities, and Agentic AI to connect telemetry from cloud, multi-cloud, and on-premises technologies. ReliaQuest serves over 1,000 customers globally, with 1,200 teammates across six operating centers.
