Regnology, a software provider specializing in regulatory reporting and supervisory technology solutions, announced the launch of RRH Ascend, the next generation of its Regnology Reporting Hub (RRH) solution, at the 32nd annual RegTech Convention in Frankfurt, Germany.
RRH Ascend is designed to facilitate Straight-Through Reporting (STR), a new standard aimed at eliminating friction in regulatory processes. Modeled after Straight-Through Processing (STP) in capital markets, STR seeks to enable continuous, data-driven exchanges between financial institutions and regulators. This approach is intended to reduce manual intervention and enhance efficiency in reporting workflows.
The solution, powered by Regnology’s cloud-native platform, is built upon the existing RRH foundation and incorporates four key pillars: data governance, regulatory insight, automation intelligence, and collaboration. RRH Ascend enables financial institutions to harmonize data architectures, automate regulatory workflows, and produce regulator-ready outputs in real time. It is designed to streamline bank regulation, transaction reporting, data governance, and exception monitoring across various jurisdictions.
Linda Middleditch, Chief Product Officer at Regnology, commented on the release, stating, “For too long, financial regulatory reporting has been seen as a laggard – complex, fragmented, and reactive. RRH Ascend represents a turning point, providing institutions with the clarity and control needed to adopt a fully connected, intelligence-led model. This launch accelerates the industry’s shift toward STR and a new era of regulatory intelligence.”
Early adopters are currently onboarding RRH Ascend, with full deployment anticipated by 2026. Regnology, formed in 2021 from BearingPoint RegTech and Vizor Software, serves thousands of financial institutions and corporates, along with nearly 100 regulators and tax authorities across 25 countries, focusing on enhancing efficiency, transparency, and stability in financial markets through its regulatory reporting and supervisory technology solutions.
