Price.com, an AI-powered shopping and savings platform, has launched a significant update to its conversational AI, allowing users to complete purchases directly within the platform without external redirections.
The update expands on the recently introduced Price.com AI beta, which was designed for product discovery and savings. Unlike many AI shopping tools that primarily offer recommendations, Price.com aims to provide an end-to-end experience by facilitating the actual purchase.
RJ Jain, founder and CEO of Price.com, noted that while nearly half of consumers currently use AI for shopping assistance, most experiences fall short by requiring users to manage savings and checkout independently. He stated, “Price.com is built for what comes next, turning AI-driven intent into completed purchases, with savings, all in one place.” Jain also projected that “Nearly a quarter of all purchases by Black Friday 2026 will be driven by Agentic AI experiences.”
The company addresses a gap in the market where fragmented AI shopping experiences often lead to abandoned carts due to shoppers being redirected to external sites for checkout. Price.com integrates the purchase process, aiming for a single, continuous user experience.
Early adoption of Price.com’s end-to-end purchasing capabilities has been observed in high-intent categories such as apparel, electronics, and home goods. These categories have historically experienced significant drop-offs at the checkout stage. The platform facilitates savings from a wide array of major retailers, including Nike, Chewy, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, HoneyLove, Sephora, Adidas, Macy’s, Home Depot, Skechers, and Nordstrom, among thousands of others. The platform is designed to function across the open internet rather than being confined to a single marketplace.
These purchasing capabilities are enabled through efforts aligned with Visa Intelligent Commerce. Price.com collaborates with infrastructure partners Henry Labs and Nekuda, which support the agent-led purchase functionalities.
Research from Visa indicates that 47% of U.
S. consumers already utilize AI for at least one shopping task, such as comparing prices or finding products. Millions are anticipated to rely on AI agents to complete purchases by the 2026 holiday season, underscoring the growing demand Price.com aims to meet by moving AI beyond recommendations to completed transactions.
The end-to-end purchasing experience is now available to Price.com premium customers. This update builds upon Price.com AI’s extensive shopping coverage, which spans over 1 billion products and more than 100,000 merchants, now supporting integrated purchasing across a growing number of major retailers.
