Paycom Software, Inc. (NYSE: PAYC) has launched IWant, a new command-driven AI engine designed to streamline user navigation and information access within its cloud-based human capital management (HCM) software’s single database.
IWant allows users to prompt the system via voice-to-text functionality or by typing a question. The AI engine is designed to immediately provide answers or direct users to the appropriate location to interact with their information. Its accuracy is based on pulling data directly from employee records within Paycom’s single database, aiming to eliminate issues caused by duplicate or inconsistent data from multiple sources.
The new engine is accessible to clients on mobile devices through Employee Self-Service® and Manager on-the-Go® within the Paycom app, as well as on desktop via the client login page. This aims to empower users to access data within Paycom’s single database regardless of their familiarity with the software by removing navigation barriers.

For employees, IWant facilitates quick access to personal data, including time-off balances, 401(k) contribution percentages, schedules, tax withholdings, paycheck amounts, pay history, and benefits. For HR teams, C-suite executives, and managers, it provides instant employee information such as coverage thresholds, time-off schedules, overdue trainings, pay changes, daily clock-in statuses, time-off requests, salary data, employment history, and performance reviews.
