Patra, a provider of AI-powered software solutions and technology-enabled insurance outsourcing services, has announced four key advancements for its Patra AI platform, including industry-first support for Commercial Package policies (CPP), AI model performance improvements, new monthly subscription pricing, and enhanced operational reporting.

The Patra AI platform is Patra’s proprietary insurance automation system, which utilizes AI and modern workflows to address challenges within the insurance industry. The platform focuses on the document-heavy insurance policy lifecycle, offering solutions for policy checking, quote comparison, and the extraction and structuring of policy data. These product advancements enable insurance groups to leverage Patra AI across 85% of commercial insurance policy volume, delivering AI-powered accuracy and human-in-the-loop validation.

Commercial Package policies, which bundle multiple coverages into a single unstructured PDF document often hundreds of pages long, have historically presented a challenge for AI-powered insurance automation due to their complexity. Patra AI has addressed this by allowing its platform to accurately extract and analyze data across up to five distinct lines of business within a single policy document: Commercial Property, Commercial General Liability, Commercial Auto, Workers’ Compensation, and Commercial Umbrella.

Will Dogan, Senior Vice President of Product and Service Line Management at Patra, stated, “Support for Commercial Package policies has been a significant gap for AI-powered document automation in the insurance industry. The complexity of extracting and analyzing data from five different lines within a single unstructured document was a barrier holding back the reach of automation solutions – until now. By combining our latest AI advancements with a new SaaS subscription plan, we are ensuring that agencies of every size can now automate their most complex workflows with the same speed, efficiency, and 99.5% verified accuracy they’ve come to expect from Patra.”

The Patra AI platform now supports 12 commercial lines of business, offering a unified solution for commercial insurance needs. These include Business Owners Policy (BOP), Cyber Liability, Commercial Automobile, Directors and Officers (D&O), Commercial General Liability, Employment Practices Liability (EPLI), Commercial Package, Excess Liability, Commercial Property, Professional Liability, Commercial Umbrella, and Workers’ Compensation.

To facilitate adoption for mid-market and smaller agencies, Patra is introducing flexible subscription plans for its Patra AI ‘Self-Service’ model. These plans offer fixed monthly payments starting at $99 per month, along with unlimited user seats and a 14-day free trial. Self-service customers have reported an 85%+ time reduction on policy checking workflows compared to manual methods, with one customer noting a $300,000 annual reduction in policy checking expenses. The platform achieves a 99.5% accuracy rate, supported by patent-pending AI technology and human-in-the-loop verification.

Patra also offers a ‘Full-Service’ model, which integrates Patra AI with execution by Patra’s global delivery teams. This model allows clients to outsource the entire workflow to Patra, benefiting from AI-driven improvements without direct interaction. This service includes coverage for Patra Errors and Omissions (E&O) and features competitive, fixed, transactional pricing with faster turnaround times.

New activity reporting capabilities have been launched to provide agency leaders with tools to track platform usage and performance. These features include export functionality for business intelligence and operational oversight, enabling agencies to monitor technology adoption, identify workflow inefficiencies, and measure ROI on digital investments. This visibility is designed to support more informed decision-making, aiming to improve productivity, accountability, and operational effectiveness.
