Object First Reports 291% Bookings Growth for Q3 2025 Amid Rising Demand for Immutable Backup Storage

Object First, a provider of immutable backup storage solutions for Veeam users, announced a 291% year-over-year increase in bookings for the third quarter of 2025, marking its sixth consecutive quarter of triple-digit growth as global demand for ransomware-resilient data protection rises.

Object First’s Ootbi (Out-of-the-Box-Immutability) appliance, specifically designed for Veeam environments, has seen significant customer adoption. Bookings growth for Q3 2025 included a 248% increase year-over-year in the U.

S. and Canada, and a 447% increase in EMEA. This expansion was partly driven by the introduction of new appliance capacities—20, 40, and 432 TB units—and the launch of a pay-per-use Consumption model. Initially introduced in the U.

S. in Q2 2025, the Consumption model expanded to European markets in September 2025, offering customers, resellers, and service providers the choice between a capital expenditure (CapEx) purchase or a subscription that bypasses upfront investments and hardware refresh costs.

The company’s global customer base expanded by 280% year-over-year in Q3 2025, while its partner community grew by 266%, with dozens of new partners joining the Object First Partner Program. Notable new partners in EMEA include Netgo, IT-HAUS GmbH, Medialine Group, and SVA System Vertrieb Alexander GmbH in Germany; CFI and Monaco Digital in France; EVANT in Turkey; and Softcat and Insight in the U.

K. New EMEA distributors added were Arrow in France, ALSO in Switzerland, and Axiz in Africa. CANCOM in Germany achieved the status of Object First’s first Platinum Partner in Europe, joining North American Platinum Partners Insight and CDW.

Customer feedback highlights the product’s effectiveness and ease of deployment. Matthias Altensleben, Head of IT at Bezirksamt Steglitz-Zehlendorf, noted, “With Object First, we can now guarantee what our old backup target couldn’t: the immutability of our backup data. We’re now fully protected from ransomware attacks.” Mauricio Caggioli, CIO and Manager of IT & Technology Automation at Acindar, commented on the “straightforward” deployment, stating, “With minimal support required, our IT team was able to integrate Ootbi into our existing infrastructure within minutes.”

Partners also lauded the solution.
