Northspyre, a real estate development management platform, has announced expanded accounting integrations designed to streamline financial workflows, improve forecasting accuracy, and increase visibility into project costs for commercial real estate teams. This update includes support for journal entry imports and bi-directional data flows with Acumatica and Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE), aiming to unify project and accounting systems for operational efficiency.
William Sankey, CEO and Co-Founder of Northspyre, stated that the company is building momentum in financial automation and system connectivity, with enhancements focused on reducing manual overhead and providing real-time financial insights. He noted that as development and capital projects become more complex, the platform helps finance and project teams maintain alignment and control.
These expanded integration capabilities include Journal Entry Imports, allowing users to import journal entries directly from accounting systems such as Yardi, MRI, Sage Intacct, Sage 300, RealPage, Acumatica, QuickBooks Online, and QuickBooks Desktop. This functionality is intended to improve reconciliation workflows and ensure that budget versus actuals accurately reflect key costs, including payroll allocations, overhead, and credit card charges.
Additionally, a new Bi-Directional Sync with Acumatica and Oracle JDE enables teams to push approved invoices from Northspyre to these accounting systems, track payment statuses in real time, and maintain audit-ready records. Northspyre automates the mapping of budget lines, vendor data, and payment amounts, which aims to eliminate duplicate data entry and mitigate the risk of errors.
These enhancements are part of Northspyre’s ongoing investment in creating a connected ecosystem to support commercial real estate teams in managing operations, reducing risk, and scaling effectively.
