Northern Trust Secures Middle Office Outsourcing Mandate from Aristotle Capital Management

Northern Trust (Nasdaq: NTRS) has been appointed by Aristotle Capital Management, LLC to provide middle office outsourcing services for institutional portfolios, a partnership that already covers approximately $40 billion in assets under management as of June 30, 2025.The mandate involves Northern Trust’s Investment Operations Outsourcing (IOO) delivered through its integrated middle office platform. Aristotle, a majority employee-owned firm based in Los Angeles, employs a bottom-up, fundamental investment approach across its international, global, and U.S. equity portfolios.Ryan Burns, Head of Global Fund Services, Americas at Northern Trust, highlighted the growing complexity in middle office operations. “The complexity of the middle office is increasing, and asset managers need advanced expertise and technology to expand their operations,” Burns stated.
