Nitrogen Unveils Agentic AI Engine Nucleus and Expands Advisor Platform Capabilities

Share It:

Nitrogen, a provider of AI-connected advisor products, introduced Nucleus, an agentic AI engine embedded directly into its advisor platform, alongside significant upgrades to its tax planning, income planning, and investment research tools during its Winter 2026 product release keynote at the Fearless Investing Summit. The company positioned Nucleus as a workflow solution rather than a standalone chatbot.

Nucleus is designed to streamline advisor workflows before, during, and after client meetings. Instead of utilizing multiple tools or manually entering data, advisors can assign tasks to Nucleus within the Nitrogen platform. These tasks include setting risk targets, dispatching risk questionnaires, converting statements into portfolios, generating retirement income maps, drafting proposals, and preparing meeting discussion points, all managed from a single client profile.

Dan Zitting, Chief Executive Officer at Nitrogen, commented on the importance of client interactions, stating, “Client meetings are where advisors demonstrate value and trust is won.” He added that by integrating investment risk, research, income planning, and tax intelligence with visual aids, the platform aims to enhance these meetings. The company also noted its Net Promoter Score of 71, indicating advisor trust in its offerings, and reiterated its commitment to compliant, secure, and powerful AI tools.

Unlike standalone AI assistants, Nucleus operates within Nitrogen’s structured data environment, ensuring advisors maintain control by approving actions before execution. The system adheres to SOC 2 and ISO-42001 compliance standards, backed by over a decade of data security investments. Justin Boatman, Chief Product Officer at Nitrogen, described Nucleus as moving “beyond simple automation to agentic AI,” emphasizing its capability to perform complex work across the suite, allowing advisors to prioritize client relationships.

Further product advancements introduced alongside Nucleus aim to improve the clarity and efficiency of client conversations. Within the Tax Center, Nitrogen added two new Report Elements to its Reports Builder: the Tax Snapshot Report Element for client-ready PDF summaries of tax data, and the Tax Transition Report Element, which visualizes the tax implications of shifting between current and proposed portfolios. A Roth Conversion Calculator was also previewed, with its release scheduled for the following month.

The company also enhanced its statement conversion services with Premium Statement Capture, a human-verified tier available for $49 per month, allowing advisors to fully outsource portfolio entry from PDF uploads. Income Center, formerly Planning Center, now incorporates Stress Tests to model market events for retirement income planning. These tests can illustrate how guaranteed income sources, such as annuities, may contribute to the stability of retirement plans during adverse market conditions. Additionally, performance upgrades to the Research Center increased supported portfolio size by three times and improved load speeds by more than 3.5 times, facilitating real-time investment analysis during meetings.

Nucleus is available to all Nitrogen users on current plans at no additional cost, with beta access provided to attendees of the Fearless Investing Summit starting immediately.
