Navan (NASDAQ: NAVN), a platform for corporate travel, payments, and expense management, has been chosen by Frasers Group as its global partner to centralize travel and expense operations, enhance employee experience, and generate company savings.
Frasers Group, the retailer behind brands such as Sports Direct, FLANNELS, and FRASERS, has been executing its Elevation Strategy to evolve its retail approach and build a brand ecosystem. To support this operational ambition, Frasers Group sought a partner capable of unifying global travel and expense management, improving employee satisfaction, and delivering cost efficiencies.
Navan’s unified platform will allow Frasers Group’s employees to book travel and submit expenses through a single interface, facilitating automated travel payments and expense reconciliation. This integration is designed to provide the finance team with real-time visibility, automated policy compliance, and embedded cost-saving controls.
Andy Brown, Chief People Officer of Frasers Group, stated, “Navan gives our team members a modern, AI-powered platform they actually want to use. With Navan, we’ll have increased programme adoption, and will gain better visibility and control over travel and expense spend. Navan enables us to modernise travel and expenses in a way that’s both high-performance and people-first, which is critical as we scale internationally.”
The partnership is expected to yield several benefits. Improved employee satisfaction is targeted with projected online adoption rates exceeding 95%, along with a Net Promoter Score (NPS) above 40 and a customer satisfaction score (CSAT) over 95%. Financial savings on travel spend are also anticipated, including up to 8% annual savings on airfares through access to New Distribution Capability (NDC) and low-cost carrier content. Furthermore, the finance team expects enhanced transparency over spending and policy adherence, contributing to operational efficiency aligned with Frasers Group’s Elevate programme.
Michael Riegel, CEO, EMEA, Navan, commented, “We’re honoured that Frasers Group has chosen Navan as their unified travel and expense platform. By giving employees a platform we believe they will love to use, we expect to deliver high programme adoption that drives visibility, control, and savings. Frasers Group is redefining modern retail, and we’re committed to helping Frasers Group unlock yet more efficiency gains.”
This collaboration reinforces Navan’s position in the enterprise market, with its user-centric approach to travel and expense management adopted by other large organizations such as Unilever, Heineken, Canva, and Informa, alongside hundreds of other enterprises across the UK.
Navan’s AI-powered system aims to streamline travel booking by learning employee preferences and presenting tailored options within company policy, rather than an extensive list. Navan data indicates that 70% of bookings are made from the first five options presented, contributing to faster and more personalized travel arrangements.
Frasers Group began as a small store in Maidenhead in 1982 and evolved into a global entity. In 2019, Sports Direct International rebranded to Frasers Group plc, reflecting its growth and market identity. Led by Chief Executive Michael Murray, the company continues its expansion with a focus on digital innovation and unique store experiences globally, aiming to build a prominent brand ecosystem.
Navan offers an all-in-one solution for corporate travel, expense management, and spend optimization, utilized by enterprises worldwide to integrate technology, user experience, and sustainability insights.
