Navan Enhances Booking.com Integration for Expanded Global Lodging Inventory and Savings

Share It:

Navan, a platform for business travel, payments, and expense management, has announced an enhanced direct connection with Booking.com. This updated API integration is designed to expand global lodging inventory and offer additional savings to users.

The enhanced connection provides business travelers with access to a broader range of lodging properties directly within the Navan platform. This expanded inventory is particularly beneficial for destinations that may be less common for business travel, where Booking.com’s selection is extensive. The integration also supports future enhancements, such as a potential “work-friendly” tag for non-hotel properties, which aims to simplify the process for business travelers to find suitable accommodations.

Dane Molter, SVP, Navan Group Travel Marketplace, stated that the connection aims to add value to business trips by offering discounts and perks on eligible stays. He emphasized that direct connection to Booking.com’s advanced API allows Navan to provide concrete savings and more choices that can benefit a company’s financial performance.

The partnership offers access to closed-user group pricing, which includes loyalty rates, mobile rates, and seasonal and regional discounts. These can be combined with Booking.com’s Mobile Discounts, resulting in substantial savings for Navan customers. The integration also seeks to streamline the payment process by addressing issues like rejected cards and missing details to help ensure booking confirmations.

Thibaut Leroux, Director of Commercial Partnerships at Booking.com, noted that the collaboration expands business travelers’ choices by providing access to Booking.com’s inventory of work-friendly hotels and homes. He added that the partnership simplifies booking the right stay, supported by Booking.com’s global coverage and competitive rates. Navan is a business travel, payments, and expense management platform. Booking.com, a part of Booking Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: BKNG), offers a marketplace for travel experiences.
