Navan Chosen by Simon-Kucher for Global Business Travel and Expense Management
Navan, an AI-powered business travel and expense platform, has been selected by Simon-Kucher, a global commercial growth and pricing consultancy, as its worldwide travel partner, providing access to its platform across over a dozen markets including North America, Europe, and the APAC regions.
Simon-Kucher teams will utilize Navan’s AI-powered platform to manage business travel. Thomas Wohlan, Director of Travel Management at Simon-Kucher, stated that the firm’s increasing global operations necessitate a modern travel platform to ensure consistency across countries and simplify the experience for their teams. He noted that Navan’s platform enables more efficient operations on a single global system, offering the level of intelligence and support expected by the consultancy.
Through this partnership, Simon-Kucher aims to enhance its travel management with several benefits. These include a modern booking experience leveraging AI assistance, projected to reduce average booking time to under seven minutes and increase platform adoption to over 95%. The agreement also seeks to optimize travel spending by providing access to competitive inventory and fare options through Navan’s dynamic policy controls and airline content.
Furthermore, the collaboration will offer improved emissions visibility through consolidated reporting of travel-related emissions and the provision of lower-emission travel options, such as rail. Employees will have access to dashboards to view their individual travel footprint, while the firm will gain deeper insights into regional travel patterns for sustainability initiatives.
Michael Riegel, Chief Customer Officer at Navan, commented on the partnership, highlighting that for global consultancies like Simon-Kucher, efficient travel is fundamental to business operations. He added that contemporary teams expect work tools to be as intuitive as personal apps, and Navan’s AI-powered platform simplifies travel for its users.
This agreement with Simon-Kucher contributes to Navan’s expansion within the enterprise segment, alongside other recent customers such as Yahoo, Axel Springer, and Frasers Group.
