Meridian has announced the launch of Frame, an AI-powered document builder designed to convert complex investment materials into structured, branded investment summaries with integrated deal scoring.
Frame allows investors to quickly transform confidential information memorandums (CIMs) and detailed decks into consistent, shareable outputs. The platform uses firm-defined scoring criteria to extract core financial, operational, and qualitative details, making it suitable for internal circulation among investment teams. Frame is available today with a 10-day free trial.
Key capabilities of Frame include intelligent parsing of CIMs, decks, and diligence materials, alongside structured extraction of financials, key performance indicators (KPIs), risks, and qualitative drivers. It also automates the creation of firm-branded templates and layouts, offers customizable deal scoring with positive and negative factors, and automatically normalizes charts, tables, and metrics.
Meridian developed Frame as part of its strategy to offer AI-powered workflow tools, which are typically embedded within its enterprise CRM platform. These tools cover aspects like company sourcing, data enrichment, note generation, reporting, web search, and deal workflows, requiring an enterprise deployment for full access.
Alexander Sen, founder and CEO of Meridian, stated, “Frame gives investors a quick way to try one of our AI tools in a fast, self-serve format. It lets teams experience the power of our document engine and get a feel for Meridian’s automation potential without needing a firm-wide license to the full platform.”
While Frame operates as a standalone product, its functionality is enhanced when connected to the broader Meridian platform. This integration allows users to access full CRM context, integrate with Outlook and deal drives (such as Sharepoint), and leverage over 26 million company and people records. Additionally, it provides live data integrations, AI enrichment, news updates, thematic sourcing data, and market maps. When integrated, templates can merge live firm data with extracted document content, generating structured, up-to-date reports efficiently.
Meridian is an AI-native operating system for private-markets teams, providing deal software, proprietary datasets, and advanced AI to streamline sourcing, evaluation, and execution processes. The company, headquartered in New York and Miami, was founded by a team with experience from firms including Blackstone, Thoma Bravo, PitchBook, and Juniper Square.
