Meditology Services, a cybersecurity and compliance consulting firm specializing in healthcare, has acquired CORL Technologies, a company recognized for its third-party risk management (TPRM) services. This acquisition aims to broaden Meditology’s existing portfolio, integrating CORL’s TPRM programs, data insights, and managed services to offer more extensive solutions for healthcare organizations navigating increasing vendor and supply chain risks.

“Healthcare organizations are under constant pressure to balance security, compliance, and operational demands,” stated Nadia Fahim-Koster, CEO of Meditology Services. “By CORL joining forces with Meditology, we can help our clients address these challenges with confidence—through a managed TPRM solution built specifically for healthcare, led by experienced security advisors who understand the landscape.”

The healthcare sector increasingly relies on third-party partners and cloud-based services, which introduces additional complexity and risk. CORL’s integration is expected to enhance Meditology’s capacity to assist healthcare entities in achieving their security and compliance objectives across the full spectrum of their risk management activities, from initial assessments to continuous monitoring and program refinement.

The combined Meditology and CORL now offer a suite of TPRM services. These include strategic TPRM program consulting to assess, design, and optimize programs for scalability and maturity; flexible, tech-enabled managed services aligned with compliance needs; continuous monitoring of vendor and third-party risk across the healthcare ecosystem; evaluation and optimization of TPRM programs for efficiency, scalability, and regulatory alignment; guidance and support from dedicated security advisors to improve response times and outcomes; and actionable insights through performance metrics, benchmarking, and executive reporting.

Ed Zunzunegui, President and COO of Meditology Services, commented, “The acquisition of CORL strengthens Meditology’s ability to deliver end-to-end visibility, insight, and control across the healthcare third-party ecosystem. By bringing CORL’s deep TPRM capabilities under the Meditology umbrella, we’re empowering healthcare organizations to proactively manage risk, improve efficiency, and gain confidence in their supplier relationships.”

As part of Meditology, CORL’s services will maintain their AI-enabled, workflow-driven TPRM solutions, supported by a team of healthcare cybersecurity advisors. This integrated offering aims to allow clients to manage third-party risk more effectively, adapt to evolving regulations, and fortify security programs without overburdening internal teams. Meditology emphasizes that this acquisition reinforces its commitment to assisting healthcare organizations in safeguarding patient data, maintaining compliance, and developing scalable security programs.
