Litify, a legal platform provider, has announced LitifyAI Damages Assistant, a new native capability developed in strategic partnership with Supio, an AI platform specializing in personal injury law, designed to automate the compilation of medical record chronologies and reconciliation for plaintiff law firms.
Manual medical record review is often one of the most labor-intensive and error-prone processes in personal injury case preparation. The LitifyAI Damages Assistant addresses this by ingesting medical records and bills as they are uploaded. It then uses artificial intelligence to generate accurate, source-linked medical chronologies and organizes medical encounters and bills into a reconciled ledger, all saved directly to the case file within Litify. This integration allows for immediate triggering of tasks, approvals, and workflows, enabling legal teams to move from insight to action directly within the platform.
Lauren Rothrock, Chief Product Officer at Litify, stated, “At Litify, we believe that AI belongs on the ‘Platform of Action,’ where our clients’ data resides, processes flow, teams log in every day, and leaders make decisions. By thoughtfully integrating with Supio, we’re able to offer world-class AI-powered medical records processing directly within the Litify platform.” She added that because all data is stored to the proper records, clients can set up custom alerts, reporting, and next-best-action automations. For instance, a flagged injury, gap in treatment, or misdiagnosis can automatically create tasks, notify relevant personnel, and appear in real-time reporting. Litify selected Supio as a partner based on positive feedback from mutual customers.
Jerry Zhou, CEO of Supio, commented on the collaboration, saying, “The bottleneck for plaintiff firms isn’t just finding the needle in the haystack of thousands of pages of medical records; it’s also about taking timely next steps with that information.” He expressed enthusiasm for the strategic partnership with Litify, which he believes will allow customers to leverage both companies’ technologies to uncover hidden value in their cases and swiftly act on it.
Law firms are currently facing significant operational pressures, including rising costs associated with marketing, customer acquisition, and talent retention. In this environment, AI solutions that enhance efficiency, unlock team potential, and help firms maximize their financial opportunities are considered critical for sustained success and growth. Supio’s technology aims to streamline the case lifecycle, from pre-litigation analysis to courtroom strategy, promising faster case resolution, higher settlement values, and deeper client trust through precision-driven document analysis and advanced case economics.
Litify is described as an all-in-one legal platform that helps law firms and corporate legal departments improve business performance by standardizing, measuring, and optimizing legal operations. Its platform integrates secure cloud-based technology, configurable workflows, and business analytics. Supio is an AI platform designed to transform how personal injury and mass tort law firms build cases, converting complex materials into actionable insights through specialized AI combined with human expert verification.
