Global investment institution Lighthouse Canton has announced a USD 40 million strategic investment round, led by Peak XV Partners, to accelerate its growth, enhance technology infrastructure, expand product capabilities, and pursue geographic opportunities.
Singapore-headquartered Lighthouse Canton secured USD 40 million in its first external fundraise. The investment round was led by Peak XV Partners, with participation from Nextinfinity, the investment holding company of Shyam Maheshwari (Founding Partner of SSG Capital, later Ares SSG). Qatar Insurance Company (QIC), an early investor in Lighthouse Canton, also continued its support.
The capital infusion is designated to enhance Lighthouse Canton’s technology infrastructure, attract senior talent across its global operations, expand its product offerings, and support geographic growth initiatives in high-potential markets. This strategic funding marks a new phase focused on scale, innovation, and institutional depth for the firm.
Shilpi Chowdhary, Group CEO of Lighthouse Canton, commented on the milestone, stating, “This is a defining milestone for us. We have built Lighthouse Canton with an institutional mindset independently. For more than ten years we have been guided by a long-term vision of creating a world-class investment platform. With Peak XV and our strategic partners, we are deepening our capabilities, institutionalizing further, and positioning ourselves for the next decade of growth.”
