Lessen Introduces Aiden, an AI-Powered Suite for Streamlining Real Estate Property Maintenance
Lessen, a technology-driven provider of outsourced real estate property services, has launched Aiden, an AI-powered product suite designed to optimize the entire maintenance lifecycle for residential and commercial property portfolios.
Aiden aims to address historical challenges in facilities maintenance, which have often been characterized by manual and fragmented processes leading to delays, increased costs, and tenant dissatisfaction. According to Jianqing Zhao, Chief Technology Officer at Lessen, traditional point solutions offer temporary relief but do not resolve underlying systemic issues. Zhao stated that Aiden is “fundamentally reshaping” maintenance by integrating AI across every step, thereby reducing friction, accelerating decision-making, and providing a more reliable experience for all stakeholders.
The Aiden suite incorporates several AI modules to deliver value throughout the maintenance journey. These include Aiden Assistant, a 24/7 multilingual self-service tool for work order reduction and customer experience improvement; Aiden Proposal & Invoice Assistant, which uses AI for proposal and invoice creation with confidence scoring and compliance checks to speed up approvals and vendor payments; and Aiden Asset Intelligence, utilizing OCR and intelligent inference for automated asset validation with over 95% data accuracy.
Further modules include Aiden Outreach, designed for proactive vendor engagement to expedite quotes; Aiden Auto-Review, an AI-driven system for automatically approving high-quality submissions and flagging exceptions; Aiden Messages, which triggers AI actions directly from communications to enhance self-service and information gathering; and Aiden Insights, providing AI-generated work order and location summaries with root-cause analysis for smarter operational decisions.
Early implementations of Aiden have demonstrated measurable operational improvements. Clients have reported a 20% acceleration in quote approvals, over 95% asset data accuracy, an 85% reduction in routine follow-ups, and a doubling of processing speed for work orders and invoices. These efficiencies are intended to reduce administrative burden, facilitate quicker resolutions, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Jay McKee, Chief Executive Officer at Lessen, commented that Aiden empowers customers by helping operators resolve issues efficiently, ensuring vendors are paid promptly, and offering residents a smoother living experience. He added that the AI platform establishes a new industry standard, delivering efficiency and innovation at scale across both commercial and residential real estate sectors.
Aiden is built for broad applicability, supporting various residential categories such as single-family, multi-family, manufactured housing, and HOAs, as well as commercial portfolios including retail, financial services, light healthcare/aesthetics, hospitality, distribution, and self-storage. The platform operates at industry scale, leveraging Lessen’s nationwide network of over 30,000 vetted service providers and drawing insights from more than 27 million work orders processed since the company’s inception.
