KeyMe Locksmiths, a provider of local locksmith services and key duplication kiosks, has announced a partnership with Agero, a leader in digital driver assistance services and software for automotive and auto insurance companies, to broaden access to professional vehicle lockout assistance across the U.
S.
Through this collaboration, KeyMe Locksmiths will enhance its vehicle support services by integrating with Agero’s network of vetted service providers. This partnership aims to offer stranded motorists an additional reliable pathway to quickly resolve vehicle lockout situations.
Consumers will have the option to request vehicle lockout service through traditional phone-based dispatch or a convenient online request form. This dual approach is designed to streamline the process, emphasizing speed and simplicity during potentially stressful roadside incidents.
James Moorhead, CEO of KeyMe Locksmiths, stated, “When a driver is locked out of their car, what they want most is a fast, reliable solution they can trust. Teaming with Agero gives us immediate access to one of the nation’s largest and most trusted roadside assistance networks, allowing us to extend KeyMe’s reach and give customers another powerful pathway to get back on the road quickly, safely, and with confidence.”
Agero currently supports over 150 million vehicles and manages 13 million events annually for leading automakers, insurers, and mobility providers. The inclusion of KeyMe Locksmiths is expected to reinforce Agero’s end-to-end assistance ecosystem, providing drivers with a dependable solution backed by established brands in roadside assistance and locksmithing. Vehicle lockouts constitute approximately 9% of all roadside events handled by Agero.
Jon Greene, VP Automotive Services at Agero, commented, “This partnership is about removing friction and reassuring motorists that help is there during some of the most stressful moments they can experience on the road. By combining KeyMe’s leadership in locksmith services and key duplication with Agero’s nationwide network, we’re building a stronger, more dependable roadside ecosystem, one that helps vehicle owners get back on the road faster and with greater confidence.”
This partnership represents KeyMe Locksmiths’ most extensive roadside assistance collaboration to date, projected to significantly increase its reach and service volume within the category. Mr. Moorhead added that this announcement aligns with KeyMe’s broader objective to modernize locksmith services through technology, scalability, and enhanced consumer choice, aiming to serve customers whether they are in-store, online, or roadside.
