Jiko Secures Strategic Backing from Coinbase and Blockstream Capital Partners, Expands Digital Asset Partnerships

Jiko, a platform designed to power global liquidity through investments in U.

S. Treasury bills, has announced strategic backing from Coinbase and Blockstream Capital Partners. This investment coincides with new strategic partnerships with leading industry entities including Crypto.com, Blockstream Capital Partners, Bitso, and Coinbase, who will adopt Jiko as a banking partner.

Stephane Lintner, Co-Founder and CEO of Jiko, noted that the disparity in speed between the crypto and fiat worlds creates friction, stating, “Today’s digital economy needs banking rails built for digital markets. We’re proud that Coinbase, Blockstream Capital Partners, Bitso, and Crypto.com have chosen Jiko as a strategic partner.”

Jiko, which operates as a national bank, offers a system where corporate cash is invested in U.

S. T-bills in real time on behalf of customers. The company recently launched JikoNet, a 24/7 fiat-settlement network intended for institutions to transact in U.

S. dollars at all times. In line with its expansion in the digital asset sector, Jiko has appointed Breanne Madigan, an industry veteran with experience from firms such as Goldman Sachs, Ripple, and DCG (Tradeblock), to lead its digital asset initiatives. Madigan, now Managing Director, Head of Digital Assets at Jiko, remarked, “Jiko bridges the gap between tradition and innovation, offering institutions a safe, compliant, yield-generating, always-on platform, built for scale. Jiko aims to provide transactional ease with automated investment in U.

S. Treasury bills, offering 24/7 liquidity. Its capabilities are extended through API integration and partnerships for various account sizes. OPCO Advisory and Triple Crown Digital serve as advisers to the company.
