Key features and updates in Version 1.2 include configurable “QuickTrade” buttons for fewer clicks in order placement, intuitive currency trading for easy account balance conversions and a unified display of P&L values in a single currency, and rapid order placement through both keyboard and mouse actions for instant submission. Additionally, users can now close specific tax lots based on long/short-term profits or losses, and an AI-powered tool called “Ask IBKR” delivers instant portfolio insights through natural language queries.
Mr. Galik further commented that Version 1.2 introduces new, user-friendly functionality, empowering traders and investors of all skill levels to seamlessly discover, analyze, trade, and manage portfolios through one intuitive, integrated platform.
