Intapp, a global provider of AI-powered solutions for advisory, capital markets, and legal firms, has announced the general availability of the Horizon release for Intapp Time. This release introduces advanced generative AI (GenAI) capabilities and a modern user experience across various devices.
Intapp Time is currently utilized by over 225,000 timekeepers and processes more than $150 billion in annual billings for prominent accounting, consulting, and law firms. The platform aims to streamline and automate compliant timekeeping, enabling professionals to focus on activities that drive measurable growth. The Horizon release is built on Intapp Cloud Infrastructure, which supports the product’s new AI functionalities, facilitating accurate and compliant timekeeping. The reengineered user experience is designed to make time entry intuitive across all devices while maintaining existing capabilities like activity capture and client terms enforcement.
Chris Kraft, General Manager, Time at Intapp, stated, “While Intapp Time already helps our clients identify and bill more than $11 billion per year in incremental billings, the new user experience and AI capabilities in this latest release will transform firm operations and the everyday work of accounting, consulting, and law professionals. As we help firms adopt generative and agentic AI, we’re seeing professionals increasingly expect consumer-grade technology in the workplace. Now, Intapp Time delivers on that expectation –– it’s tailored to their preferences and embedded with compliance capabilities that help make every billable hour count.”
The modernized Intapp Time user experience integrates AI-driven features, including an Activity stream to convert captured activities into time entries with pre-populated matters and suggested clients. The Quick add feature allows for rapid conversion of text or voice memos into structured time entries. Compliant time provides instant compliance validations and AI-suggested corrections. Ask Intapp offers immediate answers to questions about logged or unreleased time entries via a GenAI chatbot. Flexible timekeeping accommodates user preferences with enhanced matter matching for activity capture and improved timer and time entry editing experiences.
Two firms, Clyde & Co and Vorys, participated in Intapp’s early adopter program for the Intapp Time Horizon release and have reported benefits. Andrew Coyne, Manager of Legal Systems at Clyde & Co, noted, “Our lawyers who engaged in the early adopter program are finding the new Intapp Time very easy to use, and greatly appreciate the speed and responsiveness. The quick add capability appeals to our lawyers because it lets them use AI and dictation to enter time. We have seen it ease the burden of time entry, and we look forward to the continued roll out of additional and enhanced functionality in Intapp Time.”
Brian Donato, CIO at Vorys, commented, “The Intapp Time Horizon release is very intuitive and won’t require us to retrain our lawyers. Our users really like the quick add functionality, the ability to use AI to create narratives, and the ability to group activities in the activity stream.”
Intapp Time assists firms in several key areas: accelerating revenue by maximizing captured billable hours and preventing compliance-related payment delays; unburdening professionals by providing AI-powered time entry; building client trust through compliance with billing requirements; and unlocking insights by connecting timekeeping to firm growth objectives.
