Informatica, a provider of AI-powered cloud data management and an Oracle partner, has announced four significant advancements aimed at enhancing AI-driven cloud data management for Oracle customers. These developments are intended to assist customers in unifying and governing trusted master records across various data sources, streamlining data processes for AI initiatives, and accelerating the deployment of agent-driven applications on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
The announced milestones include:First, a Blueprint for Agentic AI on OCI is now generally available. This AI-driven cloud data management framework is optimized for agentic AI workloads on OCI, offering no-code, pre-built connectors, recipes, and a robust API layer designed to expedite agent development.
Second, Informatica plans to introduce an IDMC Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server for Claire Agents in April 2026. This dedicated MCP server within Informatica’s Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) platform is intended to accelerate the deployment and reduce time-to-value for enterprise agentic AI projects by enabling AI agents to access IDMC’s data management capabilities via the industry-standard MCP protocol.
Third, native availability of Informatica MDM SaaS on OCI is scheduled to begin in November 2025 on Oracle Dedicated Region Cloud@Customer (DRCC) PoDs. This Master Data Management (MDM) capability on OCI will provide unified, trusted data from various business domains, including customer, supplier, product, patient, and provider, supported by enterprise-grade security, performance, and cloud-native efficiency.
Finally, IDMC Support for DRCC is now generally available, enabling customers to deploy the entire IDMC platform within OCI Dedicated Region. This includes MDM, data governance, and other IDMC services in a private, sovereign environment, addressing stringent regulatory and data-residency requirements.
Rik Tamm-Daniels, GVP, Ecosystems & Technology at Informatica, stated, “Customers want to move from AI experimentation to scaled, production-grade outcomes with trust. By bringing an agentic AI blueprint, native MDM on OCI, MCP interoperability, and sovereign-cloud deployments together, we’re giving Oracle customers a fast on-ramp to intelligent and high-quality trusted data for AI across practically any cloud environment.”David Hicks, group vice president, ISV Ecosystem, Oracle North America, commented, “Customers are looking for trusted data platforms to unlock the full potential of AI. With Informatica expanding its OCI-native capabilities, organizations can unify and govern enterprise data more effectively, streamline agentic AI development, and accelerate time-to-value.”The collaboration between Informatica and Oracle is positioned to deliver an AI-powered data cloud management approach. Informatica aims to be a leading cloud data management provider offering an AI-optimized master data and agentic AI framework natively on OCI. This collaboration seeks to enable customers to unlock faster insights and achieve improved business outcomes. Informatica’s expanded OCI-native capabilities also present opportunities for Oracle partners and systems integrators to offer differentiated, AI-powered data solutions, helping enterprises establish a single source of truth across hybrid environments with MDM on OCI, adopt agentic automation faster via the blueprint and MCP, and support sovereignty and compliance through OCI Dedicated Region.
