Hazeltree Acquires Siman Systems to Bolster Treasury Management for Alternative Investments

Hazeltree, a prominent provider of integrated treasury and liquidity management solutions for the alternative asset management market, has acquired Siman Systems, a specialist in enhanced margin replication and financing analytics technology. This acquisition is set to significantly expand Hazeltree’s platform, providing a more comprehensive treasury management solution for asset managers.

Siman Systems’ technology will be integrated into the Hazeltree platform, aiming to unify treasury and trading oversight. Clients are expected to benefit from several enhancements, including improved fund returns through active treasury management paired with margin replication. The combined platform will offer enhanced margin replication and attribution, providing precise, real-time margin calculations across multiple counterparties. Additionally, it will feature a pre- and post-trade margin calculator to optimize margin requirements and improve cost efficiency through collateral optimization, reducing financing costs. The integration also aims to provide seamless visibility into margin and financing exposure, forecasting, and reconciliation, alongside a unified portfolio view that consolidates real-time cash positions, liquidity, margin, and financing across investment portfolios and counterparty accounts.
