Fruitful, a financial membership platform, has introduced Money Map, a new financial product designed to automate and execute personalized financial advice, transforming guidance into an active money management system. This system allows users to activate a visual, fully automated money framework with a single click, allocating income across bills, spending, savings goals, and investments, and setting up associated accounts, funding rules, and automated transfers.
Money Map aims to deliver a fully functional, personalized financial system to members in as little as a week. Unlike traditional tools that provide advice but leave the implementation to the user, Money Map integrates personalized guidance from Fruitful financial experts directly into an actionable system.
Sam Lewis, CEO of Fruitful, stated, “Money Map isn’t just another financial tool; it’s a complete reinvention of how financial advice is delivered and acted upon. It extends far beyond generic guidance or one-off advice to actually build and automate a person’s financial life. Our goal at Fruitful has always been to take the stress and complexity out of money, not just help people manage it, but free them from having to think about it every day. With Money Map, members get a system they can trust, powered by real human guidance and automated follow-through, so their finances are working for them, simply, consistently, and with confidence.”
The financial industry has historically focused on asset management and wealth growth, which often does not address the primary concern for most Americans: income allocation. Many individuals, especially young Americans, are focused on managing bills, debt, responsible spending, and future savings. Money Map shifts this focus to everyday income allocation decisions and is designed to work across any financial institution, providing flexibility rather than locking members into a closed ecosystem. Fruitful’s revenue model is based on membership fees, which aligns its incentives with members’ financial progress rather than product upsells.
The Money Map process begins when a member joins Fruitful and partners with a dedicated CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) Guide. The Guide conducts a discovery session to understand the member’s financial situation, including income, expenses, assets, debts, stressors, challenges, and goals. Within a week, the Guide presents the personalized Money Map in the Fruitful app during a roadmap session.
Money Map organizes a member’s finances into three core categories: Bills, Spending, and Goals. The system automates setting aside funds for essentials like rent, utilities, credit cards, student loans, and subscriptions. It also calculates and allocates a monthly “free to spend” amount and directs funds toward short- and long-term goals such as debt payoff or saving for a home. The system dynamically adjusts, for instance, re-routing money to rebuild an emergency fund after use. Once a member is ready, they activate the system to streamline account openings, income splits, and plan implementation. Money Map updates in real-time and can be adjusted with the Guide as goals evolve.
Rebecca Palmer, CFP®, Head of Guidance at Fruitful, commented, “Money Map is a game-changer for Fruitful’s members. For the first time, they’re seeing financial advice come to life in a personalized money system that’s built specifically for their needs and working for them around the clock. At Fruitful, we’re always seeking ways to alleviate financial stress and empower our members to feel confident and in control of their finances. With Money Map, they no longer have to wonder if they’re doing the right thing. They can see a clear, automated, professionally-advised path toward their goals, whether that’s paying student loans, building savings, or preparing for a major purchase.”
Money Map follows the introduction of Fruitful’s Cash & Card products, which offer a banking experience designed to maximize earnings, rewards, and financial control without fees, credit card debt risk, or carryover balances. A Fruitful membership includes ongoing one-on-one financial guidance from a dedicated CFP®, tailored investment portfolios, and no management, onboarding, or surprise fees. Fruitful’s offerings are presented as less than half the cost of traditional advisory firms, with no account fees or minimums, including 5.00% APY Cash Accounts, 0% management fee investing, and up to 2% cash back on spending.
Fruitful, Inc. operates alongside its wholly-owned subsidiaries, Fruitful Financial, LLC and Fruitful Advisory, LLC, an SEC-registered investment adviser, to provide comprehensive financial services.
