Fivetran reported that its customers ingested over 18 trillion monthly active rows into Google Cloud’s BigQuery in 2025, marking a 30% year-over-year increase. This growth is attributed to the rising adoption of enterprise artificial intelligence (AI) and the subsequent demand for scalable, governed data architectures on Google Cloud.

More than 4,400 joint customers now leverage Fivetran and Google Cloud to centralize trusted data, which underpins critical business insights. Over the past year, Fivetran has supported organizations in improving analytics performance and deploying production-grade AI use cases through automated pipelines and pre-built data integrations across diverse technology environments. The company contributed to nearly 10% of new Google Cloud bookings globally and generated over $24 million in gross sales via the Google Cloud Marketplace. This expansion highlights the increasing data requirements of enterprise AI and a broader shift towards automated, production-ready data pipelines.

George Fraser, CEO of Fivetran, stated, “As AI moves into production, the real challenge isn’t access to models, it’s access to reliable data. Customers need a trusted data foundation that’s automated, governed and built to scale. Together with Google Cloud, we’re helping make that foundation a reality.”

Fivetran has also advanced its product capabilities on Google Cloud with the ongoing introduction of its Managed Data Lake Service (MDLS) for Google Cloud Storage and BigLake Metastore. This solution enables enterprises to integrate structured and unstructured data using open formats such as Apache Iceberg and Delta Lake, automate table maintenance, and unify lakehouse and warehouse architectures. Over 70 customers are currently utilizing MDLS on Google Cloud Storage to optimize data engineering workflows and support new AI initiatives.

Concurrently, Fivetran has strengthened its collaborations with Google Cloud teams through coordinated co-sell programs, targeted field campaigns, and innovation initiatives focused on accelerating AI readiness. Enhanced compliance coverage and deeper integrations with Google Cloud security services further support the adoption of governed data architectures by enterprises. Fivetran will be present at Google Cloud Next 2026, scheduled from April 22–24, where attendees can engage with experts at Booth 6302 to explore customer use cases and product innovations within the Google Cloud ecosystem.
