Share It:

Experian has introduced Experian Express, a new self-service platform designed to allow community banks, credit unions, and other small-volume lenders to digitally credential, onboard, and access consumer credit reports. This marks the first time a credit bureau has offered such a fully online process.

The platform is tailored for U.

S. lenders with lower-volume credit report access requirements, aiming to streamline their access to credit data. Experian Express offers real-time credentialing through a guided online application, enabling clients to obtain Experian consumer credit data more quickly and efficiently for their lending workflows.

Molly Poppie, Chief Product and Analytics Officer for Experian, stated, “Small lenders play a vital role in expanding consumer access to credit. Driven by our commitment to financial inclusion, Experian Express brings digital onboarding to a traditionally manual process, giving lenders a faster, more efficient way to obtain the credit insights they need to confidently extend credit and support consumers across the communities they serve.”

Experian Express provides two subscription plans designed for common credit workflows. It incorporates VantageScore 4.0, which combines trended credit data with machine learning to offer a dynamic view of consumer credit behavior over a 24-month period. Depending on the selected plan, clients can also mitigate risk by utilizing integrated Experian fraud prevention tools such as Fraud Shield or PreciseID.

Experian Express is currently available.
