Euna Solutions Unveils Commitment to Free Supplier Access in Public Sector Procurement

Euna Solutions, a provider of cloud-based software for the public sector, has introduced the Euna Competition Commitment, a new pledge within its Euna Procurement platform designed to ensure suppliers can access and respond to public sector solicitations without charge.
The Euna Competition Commitment, integrated into the Euna Procurement platform, outlines several free services for suppliers. These include registering and being discovered by public agencies, accessing open contract opportunities, receiving email notifications from public agencies, downloading solicitation documents, submitting electronic bids, setting up a Storefront in a public agency’s Marketplace, and accessing technical support.
This initiative follows the recent launch of the Euna Supplier Network (ESN). While an optional paid version, Euna Supplier Network Pro, offers advanced features such as personalized bid recommendations and enhanced search capabilities, these features are not prerequisites for accessing or responding to government solicitations.
Tom Amburgey, CEO of Euna Solutions, stated that bidding fees create barriers to supplier participation and can deter businesses from responding to public solicitations. He emphasized that such costs can diminish competition, reduce the number of bids, and potentially lead to higher prices for agencies, while also limiting access for small, local, minority-owned, and disadvantaged businesses.
By maintaining free access, Euna Solutions aims to enable its Euna Procurement customers to benefit from a broader pool of suppliers. The company believes this approach fosters stronger competition, which can result in improved pricing, higher-quality solutions, and better outcomes for the communities served by public agencies.
Euna Solutions provides purpose-built, cloud-based software solutions for the public sector, covering areas like procurement, budgeting, payments, grants management, and special education administration. The company supports over 3,400 organizations across North America and was recognized on Government Technology’s GovTech 100 list. Its Euna Procurement platform connects agencies with a network of over 1.25 million suppliers across North America.
