The enhancement allows Euna Procurement’s Invoicing module to automatically receive and rekey invoices. This capability transforms traditional invoice workflows by converting scanned and emailed PDFs into structured digital data, designed to reduce friction and improve speed and accuracy in Accounts Payable operations. With increasing invoice volumes and staffing constraints, public sector agencies seek smarter tools to maintain operational efficiency.
The AI-powered invoice automation offers several key benefits. It provides automated data entry, where Euna’s AI tool reads and transcribes invoices submitted as PDFs within the system or via email, reducing manual input. Error reduction is achieved by extracting key data points like item numbers, descriptions, prices, and quantities from PDF invoices, enabling transactions with suppliers without cXML capabilities and minimizing input errors. Confidence scoring, an AI-powered error detection feature, helps ensure data accuracy. These features collectively contribute to faster workflows, accelerating processing timelines from submission to approval.
