doxo Launches $1M Identity Theft Protection to Bolster Consumer Financial Security

doxo has introduced $1M Identity Theft Protection, integrating advanced fraud monitoring and restoration services as a premium feature of doxoPLUS and a core component of doxoBILLS All-in-One Bill Pay. This new offering aims to enhance financial security for U.

S. consumers against growing identity theft threats.

S. household experiences $76 in direct out-of-pocket costs from identity fraud annually, contributing to a national total of $10 billion. These figures do not account for the time and resources required for identity restoration. A survey of doxo users revealed that 20% had experienced some form of identity or payment data theft, while 84% expressed concern about potential identity fraud.

This includes coverage up to $1 million for identity theft-related expenses such as unauthorized electronic funds transfer reimbursement, medical care expense reimbursement due to medical identity theft, lost wages reimbursement, and dependent care and travel expense reimbursement. The monthly doxoPLUS subscription, priced at $5.99, also provides access to identity restoration services and tools.
