Datavault AI Clarifies Executive Stock Sales to Cover Tax Obligations

Datavault AI Inc. (Nasdaq: DVLT) has addressed shareholder inquiries regarding recent ‘insider’ stock sales filed with the U.

S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on September 2, clarifying that these transactions were conducted by the company to fulfill tax obligations arising from the vesting of incentive share grants.

The Beaverton, Oregon-based company stated that the reporting officers themselves have not sold any of their incentive shares. These sales were executed on the officers’ behalf specifically to offset and cover the tax liabilities associated with the vested grants.
