Československá obchodní banka (ČSOB), a major financial institution in the Czech Republic and part of KBC Group, has chosen Camunda to serve as its new solution for orchestrating and automating end-to-end processes, supporting a comprehensive strategic modernization program. The partnership aims to simplify ČSOB’s product portfolio, streamline operations, and reduce system complexity across the organization. This adoption of Camunda is intended to establish a foundation for continuous innovation, long-term operational efficiency, and enhanced customer value.
Following an extensive request-for-proposal (RFP) process that engaged over 40 internal stakeholders, Camunda was selected for its scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.

By implementing Camunda’s process orchestration and automation platform, ČSOB anticipates several operational and customer benefits. These include eliminating architectural duplicities to reduce future infrastructure costs, accelerating time-to-market through product parameterization rather than custom coding, and preparing for third-party and beyond-banking integrations. The solution will also facilitate the creation of a unified process across both digital and branch banking channels.
These improvements are designed to enable ČSOB to deliver a more seamless, personalized, and efficient customer experience across all touchpoints.
