CrowdStrike and AWS Introduce Enhanced Security Integrations and Pay-As-You-Go Options for Cloud Workloads

CrowdStrike, in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS), has announced new integrations and consumption options within AWS Marketplace. These updates are designed to simplify the process for customers to secure and operationalize workloads on AWS through an integrated, out-of-the-box experience, featuring an enhanced version of SaaS Quick Launch for Falcon® Next-Gen SIEM with automated configuration and new pay-as-you-go access. Accenture joins as the initial launch partner to support the adoption of Falcon Next-Gen SIEM for AWS and optimize third-party data integrations.

The enhanced onboarding experience for Falcon Next-Gen SIEM in AWS Marketplace provides a centralized, guided setup that connects directly to core AWS security services, including AWS CloudTrail, AWS Security Hub, and Amazon GuardDuty. This streamlined workflow automatically identifies active data sources and begins ingesting telemetry rapidly, aiming to reduce manual configuration and accelerate time-to-value. Daniel Bernard, chief business officer at CrowdStrike, stated, “CrowdStrike and AWS are transforming how security is delivered in the cloud. Together, we’re removing friction so customers can innovate fearlessly, accelerate outcomes, and stop breaches faster.”

CrowdStrike is introducing pay-as-you-go pricing for both Falcon Next-Gen SIEM and Falcon Cloud Security in AWS Marketplace. This model allows customers to protect AWS workloads, pay only for their usage, and scale as their environments expand, all managed through AWS’s unified billing and procurement system. Matt Yanchyshyn, vice president of marketplace at AWS, commented, “With CrowdStrike’s enhanced onboarding experience in AWS Marketplace, we’re making it seamless for customers to connect Falcon Next-Gen SIEM to critical AWS services like AWS CloudTrail, AWS Security Hub, and Amazon GuardDuty – all through a guided setup experience. Combined with pay-as-you-go pricing, customers can discover, configure, and deploy protection faster than ever, ensuring a seamless experience from purchase to protection.”

Further expanding its Falcon Next-Gen SIEM capabilities for AWS, CrowdStrike is implementing real-time response powered by Amazon EventBridge, which aims to eliminate the latency associated with traditional batch processes. Detections from AWS Security Hub and Amazon GuardDuty will now stream instantly into the Falcon platform, facilitating immediate investigation and response. Additionally, new federated search capabilities are being introduced via Amazon Athena, offering quick access to data stored in Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3). This allows customers to query data in place without re-ingestion or duplication, supporting incident investigation, audits, and operational insights.

Accenture is serving as the inaugural launch partner for Falcon Next-Gen SIEM on AWS, assisting customers with implementation and fine-tuning data integrations across multi-cloud and hybrid environments. This collaboration among AWS, CrowdStrike, and Accenture seeks to enable organizations to consolidate security data, utilize AI-driven insights, and modernize security operations with cloud-scale visibility. Rex Thexton, chief technology officer for Accenture’s cybersecurity practice, noted, “By partnering with CrowdStrike and AWS, we’re enabling organizations to unify security data, leverage AI-driven insights, and transform how they detect, investigate, and respond to cyber threats across their entire digital estate.”

This joint effort by AWS and CrowdStrike aims to simplify cloud security and data management, helping customers achieve faster time-to-value, streamline operations, and enhance protection across their AWS environments.
