Concentric AI has announced that its data security governance solution has been awarded Texas Risk and Authorization Management Program (TX-RAMP) certification, enabling the company to provide its services to Texas state agencies and public education institutions.
The TX-RAMP certification confirms that Concentric AI’s Semantic Intelligence™ platform meets the cybersecurity standards required for accessing data from state agencies and public higher education institutions in Texas. It also provides assurance that Concentric AI is a trusted and secure cloud service provider.

Sullivan thanked the State of Texas for its rigorous certification process, which he noted validates safe and secure vendors. Sullivan also noted that this achievement adds to Concentric AI’s existing list of security validations and certifications, underscoring its commitment to data protection.
To obtain TX-RAMP certification, Concentric AI underwent a comprehensive assessment to demonstrate compliance with state-mandated cybersecurity standards. The company will also participate in regular reviews to maintain ongoing security and compliance. The program’s requirements are based on NIST SP 800-53, a cybersecurity framework developed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), and include baseline security requirements, certification by the Texas Department of Information Resources, and continuous monitoring by Texas state agencies.
