The City of West Hollywood, California, has expanded its contract with HdL Companies, a provider of revenue enhancement technology and consulting for local governments, to include comprehensive administration services for various local revenue programs.
Beyond existing software services, HdL Companies will now manage the city’s business license administration, Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT), cannabis collections, and tourism improvement districts (TIDs). This expansion aims to provide more effective revenue management solutions for the city.
HdL Companies specializes in offering comprehensive administration and enforcement support for locally managed revenue programs, including business license tax, lodging, and rental registration. Their solutions are designed to streamline complex municipal revenue processes, ensure compliance, recover missing revenue, and provide actionable insights for transparency and policy guidance. The firm currently services over 900 government agencies, having successfully implemented local tax and fee software and services for more than 265 of them, processing over $450 million in taxes annually.
