Circle Internet Group, Inc. (NYSE: CRCL) announced a strategic partnership with Grammy Award-winning artist, producer, and composer Wyclef Jean, who joins the company as its Global Culture Advisor. This collaboration aims to spotlight global communities utilizing stablecoin technology and to advance Circle’s mission of raising global economic prosperity through the frictionless exchange of value.

The partnership, which reflects Wyclef Jean’s journey from Haiti to his status as a cultural icon and humanitarian, will focus on connecting diasporas, art, and innovation. The goal is to demonstrate how an open and inclusive financial system can create new opportunities worldwide.

Kash Razzaghi, Chief Commercial Officer at Circle, stated, “We are proud to welcome Wyclef Jean as our Global Culture Advisor. His artistry, activism, and entrepreneurial spirit embody the human-centered innovation that defines Circle. Wyclef’s voice transcends genres and borders, making him the perfect partner to help us illustrate how – when brought together – culture and technology can raise global economic prosperity.”

Wyclef Jean commented on his involvement, saying, “Culture currency is all about having more direct access to what’s yours, whether that’s your finances or the music you create. That’s what drew me to Circle. Their mission-driven products and services are empowering people to own their financial futures, creating a more connected and equitable system that opens new doors for communities across the globe.”

Starting globally in 2026, Circle and Wyclef Jean will launch immersive content designed to showcase how communities in emerging markets are employing USDC, Circle’s dollar-denominated stablecoin, in practical and innovative ways. This will include examples ranging from near-instant cross-border payments to supporting the growth of small businesses. Through on-the-ground conversations, Wyclef will engage with stablecoin users to understand the transformative impact of payment stablecoins on their spending, saving, and creative activities.

As Global Culture Advisor, Wyclef Jean will advise Circle and co-create storytelling initiatives and new community activations as part of Circle’s ongoing USDC campaigns. The partnership seeks to establish financial technology as a cultural bridge, connecting people, purpose, and prosperity.
