Casago Selects Wheelhouse as Exclusive Enterprise Revenue Management Platform

Casago, a vacation rental property management company, has selected Wheelhouse as its exclusive enterprise revenue management platform. The integration will span Casago’s national portfolio, including markets previously managed by Vacasa.

This decision follows a 12-month review of technology providers, during which Casago identified Wheelhouse as a suitable solution for empowering local teams, maximizing owner returns, and supporting its franchise-led growth strategy. Following Casago’s May 2025 acquisition of Vacasa, Wheelhouse’s technology will now manage pricing across the combined company’s network.

Steve Schwab, Founder and CEO of Casago, stated, “We conducted a thorough review of every serious revenue management player in the vacation rental industry. Wheelhouse stood apart for three critical reasons: its world-class data science, its hybrid model that empowers our local markets to customize pricing strategy, and its exceptional culture of partnership.” He added that the choice ultimately came down to shared values, noting, “Wheelhouse gets what makes our model work, and that’s exactly what we were looking for in a partner.”

Wheelhouse’s enterprise-grade platform offers dynamic pricing, performance benchmarking, and granular tools for customizing pricing algorithms at scale. This design supports Casago’s franchise model, enabling local teams to optimize for both demand and homeowner objectives.

Andrew Kitchell, CEO of Wheelhouse, commented, “Casago is building the future of hospitality — one that’s deeply local and relentlessly focused on homeowner outcomes. Trusting a dynamic pricing engine and revenue management platform requires transparency and partnership. We’re honored they’ve chosen Wheelhouse, and believe that our partnership reflects the shared belief that great data, local expertise, and strong collaboration can combine to drive unparalleled performance.”

Key factors in Casago’s decision included Wheelhouse’s forecasting and pricing engine, which has demonstrated strong performance. Its hybrid structure allows local teams, including Casago’s franchisees and former Vacasa operators, to adjust pricing strategies with market-specific inputs. The technology also provides enterprise features such as centralized analytics, portfolio-wide visibility, and real-time performance tracking.

The rollout of Wheelhouse is in progress, with phased adoption across Casago’s franchise network and new markets anticipated to be completed by early 2026.

Casago, founded in 2001 by Steve Schwab, provides property management services across North America, Belize, Costa Rica, and the Caribbean. Its franchise-driven model focuses on guest experiences and property management. In 2025, Casago expanded through the acquisition of Vacasa, a vacation rental platform. The company is rated in the Top 1% by Comparent, and nearly 95% of its U.S.-based local operating partners hold Airbnb Superhost or VRBO Premier Partner status.

Wheelhouse, headquartered in San Francisco, is an Enterprise Revenue Management Platform designed for short-term rentals, vacation rentals, and boutique hotels. It is utilized in over 180 countries to optimize pricing and improve performance through dynamic pricing and customizable strategies.
