Bronco Federal Credit Union (Bronco FCU) has selected the nFinia Digital Banking Platform from Portland, Oregon-based digital banking provider Tyfone. This adoption aims to enhance self-service features for both retail and commercial account holders and establish a cohesive, modern user experience across all devices.
According to Steve Pittman, CIO of Bronco FCU, the primary objective during their market assessment was to improve self-service capabilities to better serve members and support the credit union’s future growth. Pittman noted that Tyfone was chosen for its platform architecture and commitment to innovation, alongside its understanding of the credit union sector.
Bronco FCU, headquartered in Franklin, Virginia, serves over 18,000 members and manages $273 million in assets. Established in 1941, it provides financial services to communities in southeastern Virginia, including Franklin and Suffolk.
The nFinia platform offers flexibility, robust security, and API-driven integration capabilities, designed to support Bronco FCU’s long-term digital roadmap. This is intended to ensure members can manage their finances with ease and have access to digital banking tools consistently. Additionally, Bronco FCU will implement Tyfone’s automated loan processing solutions, Quick Pay and Skip-a-Pay, which enable members to complete or defer loan payments without requiring login credentials.
Pittman further explained that Tyfone’s team demonstrated how nFinia would address specific member needs, indicating a shared vision and approach. He cited the collaborative rapport and Tyfone’s cooperative structure and values as factors aligning with Bronco FCU’s culture, simplifying the decision.
