Authentica Launches AI-Native Platform for Supply Chain Compliance and Risk Management

Authentica has publicly launched an AI-native supply chain administration platform designed to provide deep-tier visibility and automate compliance and risk management for buyers and importers. The full-stack solution aims to predict and mitigate supply chain risks, offering verifiable proof to regulators, buyers, lenders, and insurers amid evolving tariffs, sanctions, and ESG mandates. The platform is now available for early access.

“Geopolitics and AI are re-defining supply chains,” stated Michael Borg, Founder and CEO of Authentica. He noted the US government’s recent announcement of $70 billion in new funding for border enforcement, emphasizing that companies automating administrative tasks and avoiding costly errors are best positioned for success.

Authentica’s platform eliminates manual data entry by securely ingesting emails and shipping documents. Specialized procurement, compliance, and certification agents autonomously manage tasks throughout the order-to-delivery lifecycle. These tasks include anomaly detection, document generation, tariff classification, supplier mapping, and audit readiness, all in real time. Safeguards are integrated to keep human oversight in the loop and maintain a clear audit trail of agent actions.

Borg further highlighted the platform’s unique capability: “What makes Authentica unique is that users can back every automated step with real-world evidence of their shipments—verifying identity, origin, and condition at every stage. Unlike other systems that rely on trust alone, ours delivers proof.”

The platform supports customers in managing product testing, shipment inspections, and audits. This includes a partnership with Control Union, a global leader in verifying supply chains through testing, inspection, and certification services. Additionally, customers can authenticate products and their chain-of-custody using molecular testing solutions provided by Index Bio.

Customers who reduce their risk using Authentica also gain access to new financial products. This includes the world’s first product authentication warranty, covering up to 100% of a shipment’s value, which was developed in collaboration with Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. Authentica combines agentic AI, product testing, and embedded finance to help supply-chain buyers mitigate risk and enable autonomy across the order-to-delivery lifecycle.
