Anrok, a tax compliance platform, has announced significant platform enhancements, introducing native global compliance capabilities and new integrations with Zuora and WooCommerce. These additions are designed to enable finance teams to automate sales tax, VAT, and GST compliance across various markets from a single platform, eliminating the need for multiple regional vendors as companies expand internationally.
The expansion addresses the challenges modern companies face with global growth and fragmented tax solutions. Anrok’s data indicates that companies can experience a 47x increase in filing requirements as they scale. Many businesses now reach customers in over 100 countries within weeks of launch, while legacy tax infrastructure often necessitates combining multiple vendors for different regions. This fragmentation leads to separate contracts, workflows, and gaps in coverage, further complicated by evolving tax regimes, e-invoicing mandates, and changing VAT ID and threshold rules.
Brad Silicani, CEO of Anrok, stated, “The pace of innovation deserves infrastructure that doesn’t slow it down. Modern companies are building the future—launching groundbreaking products and reaching global audiences instantly. They shouldn’t have to become global tax experts or juggle multiple vendors just to stay compliant.”
Anrok’s new global compliance solution offers comprehensive coverage for sales tax, VAT, and GST automation across jurisdictions that tax software and digital goods. It provides complete lifecycle management, including exposure monitoring, registration, calculation, filing, remittance, reconciliation, and audit reporting, with payment confirmation from tax authorities. Advanced international capabilities include VAT ID validation, e-invoicing support, and both tax-inclusive and tax-exclusive pricing. The platform is supported by in-house tax specialists who provide same-day responses, onboarding, and proactive guidance.
Two new native integrations extend Anrok’s reach into key markets. The integration with Zuora allows subscription, usage-based, and hybrid business models to automate global sales tax directly within Zuora Billing. This aims to eliminate manual calculations and compliance gaps, providing end-to-end tax automation in minutes without custom code. Once integrated, Anrok automatically calculates sales tax at invoice creation, monitors nexus exposure across all jurisdictions—including physical nexus from remote employees—and streamlines multi-state registration and filing. A previous event on Feb 19, at 8am PT, was scheduled to provide further details on this partnership.
Daniel Enekes, SVP of Strategic Partnerships and M&A at Zuora, commented, “Modern monetization models don’t fit neatly into legacy tax systems. Subscription, usage-based, and hybrid businesses are dealing with real-time revenue, global customers, and constantly evolving regulations, which all dramatically increase tax complexity. By natively integrating Anrok’s in-house tax experts, same-day support and proactive compliance guidance with Zuora, finance teams can align global tax compliance to fast-paced innovation and growth.”
Additionally, a new integration with WooCommerce targets nearly half a million US WooCommerce merchants. This partnership aims to deliver real-time tax calculations at checkout across all US jurisdictions, alongside automatic registration, filing, and payments.
Aleksandra Hardt, GM, Strategic Partnerships at Automatic, noted, “Tax compliance shouldn’t be a distraction for merchants trying to grow their business. With Anrok integrated into WooCommerce, we’re automating the entire tax journey—from calculation to filing to remittance—giving our store owners back the time and confidence they need to focus on what matters: their customers and scaling their business.”
Anrok now services $30 billion in customer revenue worldwide, with customers including Anthropic, Cursor, Notion, Thinking Machines, and Vanta. Companies utilizing Anrok reportedly reclaim 90% of the time typically spent on indirect tax, reducing the effort to under an hour per month.
Eli Ross, COO at Brilliant, stated, “The deciding factor was that Anrok could handle US and global sales tax in one platform. We didn’t want to piece together multiple solutions or maintain separate workflows for different regions.”
Anrok’s Global Compliance, along with the Zuora and WooCommerce integrations, are currently available. Anrok, founded in 2020 and headquartered in San Francisco, is trusted by 44% of the Forbes AI 50.
