Avetta, a prominent provider of supply chain risk management (SCRM) software, and Graphite Connect, a patented supplier management network, have announced a strategic partnership. This collaboration aims to provide global enterprises with a unified solution that addresses the challenge of balancing rapid vendor onboarding with comprehensive supplier risk management.

The joint offering integrates Graphite Connect’s capabilities for quick onboarding and high-quality supplier data integrity with Avetta’s robust and continuous supplier prequalification and risk mitigation. The partnership will ensure critical risk data remains synchronized across core enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as SAP, Oracle, and Netsuite, establishing a single, cohesive workflow. The anticipated outcome is faster enrollment and supply chains where participants are continuously verified, compliant, and prepared for work.

Jon Bovit, Vice President of Ecosystem and Partners at Graphite Connect, stated, “Global enterprises can no longer afford to choose between speed and security.” He added that Graphite’s platform offers instant identity verification and fraud prevention, safeguarding a supplier’s foundational financial data from the outset. By integrating with Avetta’s prequalification and risk management services, Graphite aims to serve as a connective data layer, ensuring verified supplier profiles and compliance statuses are automatically synchronized across joint client systems.

This unified data approach is designed to transform the supplier lifecycle into an integrated, strategic process that connects onboarding, compliance, and risk intelligence into a consistent experience across various systems.

Scott Spencer, Senior Vice President of Strategic Sales and Alliances at Avetta, commented on the partnership, calling it a “game-changer.” He highlighted that the collaboration advances three critical elements of the supplier lifecycle: onboarding, risk management, and data unification. Spencer emphasized that together, Avetta and Graphite Connect will offer joint customers both rapid value delivery and comprehensive, always-on risk intelligence seamlessly integrated across their core systems.

The combined solution is intended to deliver key operational benefits for procurement, finance, and risk teams across multiple industries. These benefits include accelerated onboarding through coordinated workflows, where Graphite Connect’s network streamlines initial vendor data collection and identity validation, complemented by Avetta’s comprehensive supplier prequalification and risk management to meet safety and compliance requirements.

Additionally, the partnership aims to enhance fraud and data integrity safeguards. Graphite Connect employs two-factor authentication, ID verification, and dual-authorization protocols to prevent bank change fraud and secure financial data. This is paired with Avetta’s ongoing monitoring and risk oversight, supporting a more secure supplier lifecycle from initial onboarding through active engagement.

For joint customers, the collaboration will also enhance ERP systems and data unification. It will enable seamless synchronization of Avetta’s real-time supplier compliance scores and statuses, along with Graphite Connect’s vendor data and identity validation, directly within hiring clients’ internal ERP and P2P systems. This integration will provide a comprehensive view across all supplier types.

Avetta’s SaaS platform assists clients in managing supply chain risk and helps their suppliers qualify for jobs. It provides a global network for managing supplier safety, sustainability, worker competency, and performance, performing contractor prequalification and worker competency management across industries such as construction, energy, facilities, high tech, manufacturing, mining, and telecom.

Graphite Connect is a supplier management platform designed to simplify and streamline the entire procurement process, from onboarding to risk management. Its network serves as a central, secure location for managing data, tasks, and teams, allowing stakeholders across procurement, risk, compliance, and legal teams to monitor supplier progress. The platform automatically validates key commercial supplier data, including TIN checking, OFAC, and W-9 forms, to expedite onboarding.
