Provation, a provider of clinical productivity software, has launched Provation® iPro Lite, a mobile-first anesthesia information management solution (AIMS) designed for anesthesia groups and perioperative teams in outpatient care settings to automate charge capture, enhance compliance, and provide data-driven insights.

Provation iPro Lite extends the capabilities of Provation iPro, an established AIMS platform. This new solution is built on a physician-designed foundation and aims to address challenges associated with paper-based workflows in anesthesia documentation and revenue capture. These challenges include incomplete anesthesia charge capture, compliance vulnerabilities due to illegible or incomplete records, time-consuming documentation processes, and a lack of analytics for clinical and operational decision-making.

Brooke Kellerhouse, Vice President of Product & Anesthesia at Provation, stated, “Paper-based anesthesia documentation comes at a hidden cost: delayed payments, revenue leakage, compliance and patient safety risks, and lost insights. Provation iPro Lite makes the transition from paper seamless, decreasing revenue cycle time and unlocking clinical and operational insights lost in paper records.”

The platform is designed to assist anesthesia groups and ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) in maximizing revenue, reducing risk, and improving performance. It aims to eliminate revenue leakage by automatically capturing billable services at the point of care, which can reduce claim denials and accelerate reimbursement. The system provides complete, audit-ready documentation to minimize regulatory risk.

Provation iPro Lite is a light-touch record system optimized for speed, allowing providers to chart from mobile devices such as phones and tablets. Features include wireless physiological data streaming and configurable templates, enabling clinicians to focus on patient care. Real-time analytics and insights are provided to support clinical, operational, and financial leaders in optimizing performance and demonstrating value.

The solution features a mobile-first architecture that integrates with existing EMR systems and practice management software. It is available for anesthesia groups and ASCs throughout the United States.

Provation specializes in healthcare software and SaaS solutions for clinical productivity. Its portfolio includes documentation software for Anesthesia and GI practices, such as Provation® Apex and the Provation® iPro AIMS platform. The company serves over 5,000 hospitals, surgery centers, medical offices, and 700 physician groups globally, including 19 of the top 20 U.

S. hospitals. In 2021, Provation was acquired by Fortive Corporation.
