Lynq, a real-time, interest-bearing settlement network for digital assets, has announced July 15, 2025, as its official go-live date. This launch follows over a year of market research and collaboration with prominent digital asset firms, including B2C2, Crypto.com, FalconX, Fireblocks, Galaxy, and Wintermute.

Launch partners are facilitating adoption through onboarding at tZERO Securities, connecting via API, referring key counterparties, and integrating Lynq into their back-office workflows. The Lynq platform aims to provide institutional clients with instantaneous settlement capabilities while enabling them to continually accrue interest, addressing challenges of market fragmentation and counterparty risk.

Jerald David, CEO of Lynq, stated, “With Lynq, we are delivering a scalable settlement utility that reduces friction, unlocks liquidity, and enables institutions to operate with full transparency.”

Lynq was developed through a collaboration between Arca Labs, Tassat, and tZERO. This partnership leveraged tZERO’s Broker-Dealer and Special Purpose Broker-Dealer licenses, Arca’s asset management expertise, and Tassat’s real-time blockchain settlement platform to meet industry demand for liquidity, scale, and security while maximizing capital efficiency.

Katryna Hanush, Director of Business Development and Partnerships at Wintermute, commented, “Digital asset markets are entering a new structural phase that will be defined by real-time settlement, regulatory clarity, and institutional-grade infrastructure. Lynq’s launch is a pivotal step forward in that direction. It combines the ability to earn interest during settlement with the security and trust of established financial partners. This is the type of solution the industry needs, and Wintermute is proud to support it.”

Service partners supporting Lynq include Avalanche, which provides its open-source Layer one blockchain network, and U.S. Bank, serving as Lynq’s qualified cash custodian. Lynq’s architecture features patent-pending “Yield-in-Transit” technology, designed to maximize earned interest even during settlement operations, and operates within a bankruptcy-remote framework to minimize counterparty risk.
