Oscar Health Launches Enhanced Tech-Driven Health Plans in Southern Florida for 2026 Open Enrollment

Oscar Health, Inc. (Oscar), a healthcare technology company, has announced the introduction of tech-powered health plans for individuals, families, and businesses in Southern Florida, available for the 2026 Open Enrollment period. The new offerings will be accessible across Miami-Dade, Broward, Martin, Palm Beach, and Saint Lucie counties starting January 1, 2026.

Oscar Health, which has operated in Florida for over seven years, reports that more than 3 in 5 of its members recommend the company. The new plans aim to provide accessible and user-friendly healthcare options for local residents.

The plans include Oscar Bronze, Silver, and Redesigned Gold options, designed to accommodate various budgets and health needs. These plans offer access to a network of providers, $0 virtual urgent and primary care visits available 24/7 (with potential associated costs for further evaluations or treatments), dedicated Oscar Care Guides for personalized support, and low-cost prescriptions with home delivery options. The company emphasizes the use of technology to assist members in making informed health decisions.

Key features integrated into these plans include Oswell, a personal health AI agent. Oswell provides on-demand support for managing medications, understanding test results, addressing symptoms, facilitating prescription refills, and identifying drug interactions. It leverages individual medical records, interactions with Oscar care guides, and plan benefits to offer personalized engagement, with quick connections to virtual care and live chats with Oscar clinicians or in-network doctors.

Additionally, Oscar is introducing HelloMeno, described as the first menopause plan in the individual market. This program offers $0 primary care, gynecologist, and behavioral health visits, alongside no-cost labs, hormone therapy, insomnia medications, and bone density scans. Members can also access a network of experts at Elektra Health 24/7 and receive wellness rewards, with potential savings of approximately $900 per year, based on an ACA plan with a CSR 150.

Condition-focused plans are also part of the new offerings, tailored for members with specific health needs such as diabetes, COPD, asthma, and cardiovascular-kidney-metabolic syndrome. These plans aim to provide specialized care, including $0 primary, pulmonology, endocrinology, cardiology, and behavioral care visits, $0 labs, and $0 coverage for various treatments like pulmonary and cardiac rehab, pulmonary function tests, oxygen, diabetic eye and foot exams, inhalers, and insulin. Members on certain plans may see savings up to $800 a year, based on an ACA plan with a CSR 150. Benefits and rewards for these plans may vary and are subject to certain restrictions.

Oscar’s network in South Florida includes major provider and hospital system partners such as Baptist Health, HCA Healthcare, Jackson Health System, Larkin Health System, Memorial Healthcare, and the University of Miami Health. Individuals and families can enroll starting November 1, 2025, through Healthcare.gov, by calling 1-855-672-2788, or by consulting an insurance agent.
