DebtBook, a provider of cloud-based software for public finance teams, has introduced its Investment Management solution, finalizing its vision for a unified, cloud-based Treasury Management System (TMS) designed specifically for the public sector.
This new solution marks the completion of DebtBook’s TMS, a platform built to integrate and manage debt, cash, and investments within a single system. The Investment Management solution is designed to enhance transparency, compliance, and control over investment portfolios for public sector organizations. It enables users to track maturities and yields, align investments with cash flow requirements, and automate reporting for GASB 31, 40, and 72, aiming to reduce reliance on manual processes and disparate systems.
Tyler Traudt, Co-Founder and CEO of DebtBook, stated, “Investment Management rounds out our vision for a modern treasury platform that reflects the real-world needs of public finance teams. By bringing debt, cash, and investments together in one system, we’re helping our customers manage public funds more strategically and responsibly.”
The introduction of this solution follows a recent DebtBook survey of public finance leaders, which identified manual processes as a primary obstacle to progress, highlighting the demand for modern, integrated tools that can mitigate risk and improve decision-making.
Greg Person, Chief Revenue Officer at DebtBook, commented, “Finance teams are under pressure to do more with less, while safeguarding public trust. Investment Management gives teams the automation, structure, and visibility they need to navigate that complexity with confidence.”
With the Investment Management solution, DebtBook’s Treasury Management System aims to offer a unified platform that assists public finance teams in reducing risk, improving financial performance, and operating with greater efficiency. By centralizing debt, cash, and investments, the system seeks to empower leaders to optimize returns, reduce fees, and execute budgets effectively.
DebtBook’s broader offerings include Debt, Cash, and Investment Management solutions, as well as Lease & Subscription Management solutions for automating GASB 87, ASC 842, and GASB 96 compliance workflows, and a Contract Management solution. The company serves over 2,100 organizations nationwide, including state and local governments, higher education institutions, and healthcare entities.
