INTX Insurance Software, a provider of integrated core solutions for the property and casualty (P&C) insurance policy lifecycle, announced the launch of INTX ReinsureConnect at ITC Vegas, a new cloud-native and AI-ready system designed to centralize and streamline ceded reinsurance operations.

The solution, developed over three years, aims to modernize how carriers manage complex ceded reinsurance, encompassing treaty and facultative management, recoverable tracking, and audit processes across all lines of business for fronting carriers and those reliant on reinsurance.

INTX ReinsureConnect integrates with carriers’ existing policy, billing, and claims systems, intending to replace fragmented spreadsheets, manual procedures, and middleware. The platform supports various treaty types, including proportional, non-proportional, facultative, and retrocessions, while also managing multi-layer programs, loss corridors, commissions, claims, and accounting. The system is available for immediate implementation.

Robert Lewis, CEO of INTX Insurance Software, commented on the market need, stating, “We’ve heard loud and clear from insurers that they need a better way to manage reinsurance.” He added, “We are addressing that need with INTX ReinsureConnect: a zero-cost, fast-to-implement solution that delivers accuracy and flexibility. By bringing clarity and control to a historically complex process, it turns Reinsurance into a true strategic lever; helping insurers manage volatility, optimize capital, and fuel growth.”

The system automates the ceded reinsurance lifecycle from end to end. Its real-time treaty logic dynamically allocates premiums, claims, and exposures across complex structures and handles various commission types, such as sliding scale, contingent, overrider, flat, and profit commissions.

Built-in accounting features are designed to simplify compliance with regulations like Schedule F and Solvency II, integrating regulatory reporting as a native function. Additional capabilities include one-click bordereaux generation, audit-ready data trails, and dynamic accumulation controls to monitor exposure in real time, aiming to protect capital positions and enhance decision-making.

INTX ReinsureConnect also features open APIs and out-of-the-box connectivity to facilitate data exchange with reinsurers, brokers, and Lloyd’s syndicates. The platform is designed to be fully LLM- and AI-ready, feeding accurate data into predictive models, actuarial engines, and underwriting tools to potentially reduce model risk and increase confidence in decision-making. The system was developed by insurance professionals with extensive reinsurance experience, reflecting real-world workflows.

INTX is an end-to-end core system provider based in Austin, Texas. Originating from a policy administration provider in Europe and other markets, INTX offers property and casualty insurance core transactional systems of record that support the entire insurance lifecycle. The company emphasizes efficient data management to enable carriers to derive insights from data penetration analytics, providing informed perspectives on their P&C operations. INTX systems are configurable, supporting multiple currencies, languages, and regulatory and reserving environments.
