Under the renewed agreement, Clearspeed’s solution is fully integrated into Zego’s motor claims process. Upon reporting a claim, customers respond to a brief series of automated yes/no questions. Clearspeed’s technology then analyzes vocal cues to determine risk levels, allowing Zego to rapidly process low-risk cases while flagging potentially fraudulent claims for further investigation. This integration has resulted in reduced manual administration, streamlined claim handling, and improved operational efficiency.
The collaboration has also bolstered proactive fraud detection, identifying suspicious activity and mitigating the operations of organized fraud rings. Tangible outcomes include a tenfold increase in claim abandonments linked to suspicious activity and average fraud savings of £550 per claim, alongside a more efficient allocation of adjusters’ time.
