Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) has announced that its direct-to-customer (DTC) offering, Buy with Prime, is now available on Dr. Berg Nutritionals, a provider of health supplements. This expansion allows millions of U.S.-based Prime members to utilize their familiar shopping benefits, including fast, free delivery, easy returns, and a convenient checkout experience, directly on participating online stores outside of Amazon.com.

Prime members looking to purchase an item using Buy with Prime on DrBerg.com can click the designated button on a product’s page. First-time users will log in and verify their Amazon account information. For returning Buy with Prime users, the brand’s checkout page will automatically populate with their preferred delivery address and default payment method from their Amazon account. Once the purchase is complete, Amazon handles the order delivery. Post-purchase, Prime members can manage and track their Buy with Prime orders via their order confirmation email or directly within their Amazon account on Amazon.com.

Dr. Berg Nutritionals has made several of its best-selling items available through Buy with Prime, including their D3 & K2 Vitamin, Magnesium Glycinate Capsules, Natural Vitamin B1+ Allithiamine with B Complex Blend, and Electrolyte Powder. “We’re in the business of making health simple—and now, with Buy with Prime, getting your favorite supplements is simpler than ever,” stated Karl Canto, Vice President of E-commerce and Digital Advertising at Dr. Berg. “Our customers get their favorite supplements with Prime delivery speeds and the ease of shopping right on our site. It’s convenience without compromise.”

Peter Larsen, Vice President of Buy with Prime and Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment, commented, “You shouldn’t need a multivitamin to power through checkout. With Buy with Prime, Dr. Berg makes it easy for customers to get their supplements fast—no stress, no guesswork, just the Prime shopping experience they already trust, now outside of the Amazon store.”

Buy with Prime launched in 2022 with the objective of assisting DTC merchants in overcoming challenges related to acquiring new shoppers and increasing conversion rates. The service aims to achieve this by offering quick and reliable delivery and fostering long-term customer relationships. Merchants leveraging Buy with Prime have reported increased shopper conversion and reduced customer acquisition costs, with data indicating that 50% of Prime members are more likely to make repeat purchases from DTC sites that offer Prime shopping benefits. Additionally, 95% of shoppers who have used Buy with Prime have indicated a likelihood to use it again. Merchants also receive valuable shopper order information, including email addresses, which can be used to provide customer service and build direct relationships.
