The partnership aims to integrate Verisk’s GenAI- and AI-powered insurance claim medical record review and severity scoring models into Jopari’s electronic delivery system for medical bills and attachments. This integration is designed to facilitate quicker, more intelligent, and consistent decision-making throughout the claims process, from intake to adjudication, by reducing manual efforts and identifying high-risk claims promptly.
Medical record review has historically been a labor-intensive and error-prone component of claims settlement, with manual processes often consuming hours or days for a single claim. This can lead to delays, inaccuracies, and increased administrative costs, a challenge exacerbated by current staff shortages and cost pressures within the industry. The collaboration between Jopari and Verisk seeks to address these inefficiencies by providing clients with structured, pre-validated data upfront and actionable analytics subsequently.
