BT and Infobip have announced the global expansion of their partnership, delivering AI-powered advanced communication services to multinational businesses worldwide. This extended collaboration builds upon a successful initiative in the UK, established in 2022, combining BT’s Global Voice and inbound contact capabilities with Infobip’s market-leading cloud communications platform.
Together, the companies aim to innovate global connectivity, providing enterprises with seamless, secure, and scalable customer engagement across multiple channels. A core component of this offering is advanced conversational AI, which enables businesses to provide human-like interactions at scale and construct intelligent customer journeys using prompts, thereby reducing the need for extensive coding. Infobip offers its customers RCS, WhatsApp, and SMS messaging services.
BT, the UK’s leading provider of fixed and mobile telecommunications, contributes international toll-free numbers and inbound voice services, part of its International Contact Global (ICG) suite. Under the new agreement, Infobip, a global cloud communications platform established in 2006, will serve as an authorized reseller of BT’s ICG services, while BT will offer Infobip’s messaging services to its clientele.
This expanded partnership is designed to empower enterprises to consolidate their customer contact centers into a single virtual network. This integration unlocks a comprehensive suite of integrated voice and messaging capabilities, facilitating richer and more seamless customer engagement on a global scale. Beyond digital messaging, organizations will gain access to phone numbers in over 130 countries and the ability to manage inbound calls in more than 180 countries.
